The defendant has been proved guilty of public disorder. The Court sent it's own two messengers to the accused to try and convince him to appear. He ignoreded the Court's warnings that he must appear and did not even reply to the Courts pleas. While the initial crime was relatively minor - refusing to appear is a direct insult and conteptuous of the judicial process. The Court finds you quilty and fines you 40 pounds. This will not be tolerated. The defendant has been sentenced to 40 pounds fine. | |
