I was wondering, what does it take to be an archivist?

not much actually. all you need to do is to check a few places for new events (preferably every day):

- look for finished lawsuits in the court of your county
- see if there are changes in the council
- keep an eye on the newspage for elections and riots
- see if the priests of the different parishes are still the same (this is the hardest part of the job)
